Solur has a special place in my heart because this was our first home, the genesis of Riverview. I built it as a show home that in turn launched many more custom homes we have built for people we met there. One of the first people to tour the home was a Feng Shui practitioner. She suggested I reposition a painting to keep the luck from flowing out. It was an auspicious piece of advice as the home then went on to win a national award for the Best Home in Canada, and was declared the “coolest house in Canada” by the Huffington Post.
