Sophie is a relatively small (1800 square feet) infill on a challenging grade that presented a unique twist. There is a wonderful view on the side elevation, but building codes don’t allow for large windows there. Instead of losing the opportunity, we decided to sprinkler the house so we could get large windows on the side elevation. Sophie is a gem with bold features like the booked matched marble slab fireplace. I also enjoy the feeling of serenely in this house, perhaps the result of the Feng Shui consultant the owners engaged.
